Çihuatlan is Barlow's Province 1. As can be seen from the location map below, it extends from Acapulco in the east to the mouth of the Rio Balsas in the west. In the Matrícula it is found on page 16, and in the Codex Mendoza on folio 38 (recto). The following maps and table are all from Barlow (1949).
