Ctzicoac is Barlow's Province 15. It is found on the last page of the Matrícula which is damaged in such a way that two of the glyphs are missing. Fortunately, all five towns in this province are preserved on the folio 54 recto of the Codex Mendoza.The following maps and table are all from Barlow (1949).

    Barlow's map of the Province. This province straddles three modern states, San Luis Potosí in the northwest, Veracruz in the east, and Hidalgo in the southwest. Tributaries of the Rio Panuco drain to the north, Rio Túxpan to the east. The lake in the bottom left is the Laguna de Metztitlan.
