Regional focus: The Greenland and Antarctic ice sheets

I am interested in improving our understanding of the contributions from polar ice sheets (Greenland and Antarctica) to future sea-level rise in response to climate warming. The focus is on better understanding how conditions at the base of these ice sheets contribute to the enhanced flow of ice that drains ice from the ice sheet interior into the oceans.

Personal interests

I like the Bay Area, I like meeting various people, and most of what this world has to offer interests me.
