Interplay of the ocean, atmosphere, and ice in the Ross Sea; climate change on global and local scales and how this might affect people living in a particular area. In detail: factors affecting the motion and spreading of large tabular icebergs in Antarctica; using the paleoclimate signals in an ice core from Taylor Glacier to force a model of the dynamics of the Taylor Glacier system.
