I'm particularly interested in the social relations of spatial production. How do we understand the complex relationships between culture, economics and politics that shape the particular geographies of everyday life?

My interests include: the social production of space, the geography of capitalist development, urbanization, the intersection between culture and political economy, the politics of landscape production, regional border economies, the relationship between city and country, and the role of nature in capitalist accumulation.
