Focus: Social geography and cartography

I define geography as:

Our ongoing effort to understand something much larger than ourselves, something that includes most everything we know, and how every piece of it is connected.

Why I chose geography as my major:

One might say it was destiny. I learned to read off of street signs while driving around as a toddler, my uncle teaches it at the university level, and my house was always covered in maps.
