I define geography as:

a multifarious attempt to understand the surface of the earth... a ramshackle enterprise, but one most essential to our roles and responsibilities as inhabitants of this planet.

Why I chose geography as my major:

It humors (and possibly even encourages!) my intellectual indecisiveness.
