My role as the advisor for both undergraduate and graduate geography students at Cal is a wonderful opportunity for me to continue my passion for developing relationships with students and guiding them through college graduation and beyond. As an advisor, I hope to be a resource for my students in a multitude of ways, whether that is declaring their academic plan, searching for research or internship opportunities, or applying for fellowships, graduate programs, or their first jobs.
Originally from the East Coast, I have worked at various universities before making my way to UC Berkeley. Since arriving in California, I have taken advantage of the temperate weather by spending as much time outdoors as possible. When I'm not at work, I enjoy exploring new neighborhoods in the East Bay and San Francisco, finding new restaurants to try, and hosting dinner parties with my friends and testing out new recipes on them. I am also known for bringing my baking experiments to work, so it's always worth swinging by my office if you're in McCone to see if I have anything that needs testing.
