I study urban health inequities and environmental justice social movements. My dissertation is on the politics of redevelopment and environmental restoration in Bayview-Hunters Point, a neighborhood in southeast San Francisco. In this study, I emphasize the relations of and among the production of scientific knowledge (particularly scientific uncertainties), political economy, and distributions of bodily health and harm.
